What We Do

Here at WeBridge Community Services we connect black persons with evidence informed, culturally appropriate services and supports that will strengthen and foster community integration, a sense of belonging and overall wellbeing.

Educational Programs

“Where mental slavery, racism, hate and marginalization still exist, only those with the knowledge of the associated pain and suffering can truly identify and understand” (Sheppard, 2018). We are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing these issues through our Afrocentric educational workshops and programs. We believe that with access to the right resources and supports, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential.

Psychosocial Counseling

At WeBridge our counselling process diverges from mainstream counselling as it recognizes the role of the family and the relevance of cultural perspectives in enhancing the healing process. We ensure that clients are provided with tailored counselling services that are culturally grounded and delivered by black-identifying professionals who have the required educational, practice and lived experience, and also appreciate the inner workings of our community.
