Standing United Against Hate: Our Contribution to London's Anti-Hate Campaign

At WeBridge Community Services, our mission has always been to foster a community where everyone—regardless of their background—feels safe, seen, and valued. That’s why we were honored to contribute to the City of London’s powerful Stop Tolerhating campaign, an initiative launched in late 2024 to address and dismantle hate in all its forms.

About the Stop Tolerhating Campaign

Led by the City of London and supported by the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Multiculturalism, the Stop Tolerhating campaign is part of a broader Anti-Hate Pilot Project. With input from over sixty local organizations and equity-denied communities, this campaign aims to promote allyship, build awareness, and offer practical resources to help Londoners stand against hate and discrimination.

From public education materials to digital awareness campaigns, the message is clear: hate has no place here—and each of us has a role to play in creating a more inclusive city.

WeBridge’s Contribution: Elevating ABC Voices

At WeBridge, we were proud to contribute to this campaign by focusing specifically on the lived experiences of African, Black, and Caribbean (ABC) communities. We believe that meaningful change begins with listening to and amplifying the voices of those most impacted.

To support the campaign’s education and awareness goals, our team developed two key resources:

🧠 An Infographic : Designed to educate the public on what hate can look like, how it manifests in our communities, and the steps taken locally to address it. The infographic breaks down the issue in a digestible, accessible way—making it easier for individuals to recognize their role in both challenging hate and fostering inclusion.

🎥 A Storytelling Video : In this heartfelt short video, we share personal stories from ABC community members who have experienced hate—and, more importantly, how they’ve responded with resilience. This video also includes a call to action for allies across London to unite, speak up, and support those impacted by discrimination.

Let’s Keep the Conversation Going

Anti-hate work isn’t a one-time campaign—it’s a commitment we must renew daily. We encourage you to learn more about the Stop Tolerhating campaign by visiting stoptolerhating.ca.
